Currently, I'm battling a cold and losing. That's the worst part of any cold; you lose for easily 3/4ths of the battle. Then you rally at the last second and win. I'm glad I got this cold rather than the other crap that has been floating around. I've seen nasty stomach flus hit people lately. So happy I don't have that. I've been exposed to strep throat easily 6 times the past 2 weeks. Definitely happy I don't have that either.
The only good thing I can even take from a cold is that it makes my voice sound deeper. I'm always secretly self-conscious about my voice. I sometimes worry that it's too high and nasal. A good cold usually drops my voice a couple of bass notches. Weird right?
With my luck the way it is, I catch a cold during the week I've had the most days off in almost 2 months. And of course it's also the same week that it's the sunniest and warmest all year.
Well that is all I will whine about today.........
