Airports and Hospitals

For some reason, I have always had an affinity for hospitals and airports. The hustle and the bustle of people going to and fro in a major work setting has always been appealing for me. I always look forward to going to the airport, even if I'm not flying. I enjoy the crowds of people, which seems counterintuitive to my general hermit-like nature. The other strange thing is, I don't fly or travel very often to enjoy the airport. Which isn't by choice mind you. It just hasn't been a huge priority with my finances or schedule. I can't really put my finger on why I like the airport. There is something about it that I genuinely enjoy.

I can easily figure out why I like the hospitals. As a kid, I would go see my dad at the hospital where he worked. I liked the big building and how it seemed almost endless. There were people in scrubs and uniforms, buzzing about like worker bees, all with their specific functions and tasks. It was immediately appealing even if I didn't understand most of what was going on. To this day, I love going to different hospitals. It's still just as appealing me to me now as it was then. I suppose that's why I prefer to work at one.

What's the point of this post, you ask?

Writers block. I've been trying to write other crap but have not managed to write anything relevant. Even this piece as I write it feels like crap. I can't write lately. But I figure if I write something, it might get my brain working again.

But it hasn't.

So you're screwed with this senseless writing that doesn't pay off at all.
